Information needed

In 1923 a two-story brick school building replaced the frame structure built about 1901 - the exact date is uncertain. Additions and renovations in 1936, 1939, 1956 and 1968 kept pace with the expansion of the curriculum to cover grades K - 12 and with the widening of the district boundaries. Following enabling legislation passed in 1947, and subsequently amended, the entire area of Faibault county was organized into 10 school districts. One of these was the Kiester-Walters district, which also included the Mansfield area.
